Summary: 

Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the Quality Assurance Intern performs quality assurance testing and laboratory functions for the facility.

Job Duties:

The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and  responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. 

1. Conduct lot sampling, quality line checks and product quality analysis (including microbiological, physical and chemical testing)
2. Understands production processes and advocate procedures to ensure that safe quality products are produced 
3. Knowledge of federal, state, and customer requirements at all times 
4. Conduct environmental sampling 
5. Review of internal In Process Control Records (batch records) 
6. Document and handle corrective actions in the production facility 
7. Collect and prepare samples to ship to customers as required 
8. Effectively train employees on quality procedures as necessary
9. Create and provide COA’s (Certificates of Analysis) for customers as needed
10. All other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

 • Must be at least 18 years of age

 • Must be working toward degree in related field

 • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Conditions of Employment:

Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and lifting assessment.
