Laura is one of our newest employees, starting with Winona Foods in April 2014. She graduated in May 2014 from UW Green Bay with a bachelor’s degree in Business and a minor in corporate communications. She is one of our Regional Sales Managers, working primarily in the Food Service segment.
Laura has a long personal history in the dairy industry. She grew up on a family owned/operated dairy farm in Newton, Wisconsin. Laura did all the fun things kids do on a farm; milking, cleaning stalls and walking the calves, on a leash, around the neighborhood with her sister.
This past August, Laura married the love of her life, Matt, in front of more than 450 friends and family. Now that’s a party! They took a nice long sunny honeymoon to… Iceland. Yup, Iceland. Whatever happened to Hawaii? However, knowing Laura as I do, this is so befitting her non-stop adventurous personality. They hung out in a volcano, wandered on Glaciers and camped in a remote area between Mounts Höfðabrekkuafrétti and Mýrdalssandur.

Besides loving her two hefty cats of 20 & 35 lbs. and her husband of course, she loves hanging out with her nieces and nephew, geo-caching (I had to look that up), snowshoeing and writing.
It has been a real pleasure working with Laura, as her Account Manager, and know it will be many years to come. Please welcome Laura to Winona Foods!
