At Winona Foods, we continue to invest in our greatest asset, our people. I am pleased to introduce to you Jason Kleppen, the newest member of the Winona Food’s Operations Team. Jason started with us on December 15th and will direct our Production teams at both our Green Bay, WI and Kaukauna, WI facilities in the role of Production Manager. Jason’s experience and commitment to Quality, Safety and Process Improvement through lean manufacturing practices will further enhance Winona Food’s position as the low cost/high quality producer of cheese products for our current and future Customers.

I grew up in Potter, WI and currently live three miles outside of Potter. I worked the last 19 years at Kaytee Products in Chilton, WI. At Kaytee, I was exposed to many things (mainly in a Supervisor role) with the last four years as a Plant Manager. During my time as a Plant Manager I was part of a team that learned and implemented Lean principles. After taking a test and accomplishing several projects using those Lean principles I was awarded a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. For those of you that are not aware of what Lean is, it’s just an organized way to reduce cost with the main goal of keeping the customer first. I am married with a 10 year old son and an 8 year old daughter. The main thing that we all enjoy is spending time together on our pontoon on the Chain O Lakes in Waupaca. -Jason Kleppen
